The film from director Jonathan Demme is a blood-curdling thriller, and became the third in history to win Oscars® for picture, director, actor, actress, and screenplay, after It Happened One Night, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.. Ironically, Levine was onscreen longer than lead actor winner Anthony Hopkins
